Privacy and lead handling

What we collect

Quote requests collect the name, email or phone, location, requested service, timing, optional notes, consent time, and intended recipient needed to respond. Claims and corrections collect only the contact and review details shown on their forms.

Who receives a quote request

The form names the recipient before consent. During the validation MVP, the New Mexico Septic Directory operator handles inquiries manually. We do not auction, resell, or distribute a lead beyond the recipient stated at submission.

Service inquiries route through [email protected]. Claims and ordinary listing corrections route through [email protected]; removal and privacy requests route through [email protected]. These are operator mailboxes, not automatic delivery to the listed provider. If you supply an email, the same mailbox sends a minimal receipt confirming that the request was queued for manual review.

Retention

Unneeded lead rows are scheduled for deletion after the configured lead-retention period (90 days by default). Claim and correction contact fields are scheduled for redaction after their separately configured contact-retention period (365 days by default), while non-personal decision and audit history remains available. A longer hold requires a documented active legal, support, or abuse need. Analytics and logs exclude names, emails, phone numbers, and form notes.

Deletion and correction

Use the correction, privacy, or removal form on the provider profile linked to the original inquiry. For access or deletion requests, you may also contact the operator at [email protected] and include only enough non-sensitive detail to locate the submission.

Security

Public forms use server-side validation, rate limiting, spam traps, same-origin checks, parameterized database access, and audit events. No internet service can promise absolute security; avoid putting sensitive financial, health, identity, or access information in a submission.
